Smart OrdiniAI: l’intelligenza artificiale al servizio della gestione degli ordini
L’innovazione è uno dei motori che guidano la crescita di CSM Trasporti. Per questo nasce Smart OrdiniAI, il progetto che introduce l’intelligenza artificiale generativa a supporto di uno dei processi più strategici dell’azienda: la gestione degli ordini ricevuti tramite posta elettronica.
Ogni giorno, l’acquisizione di un ordine richiede la gestione di numerose comunicazioni, la raccolta di informazioni e la verifica dei dati necessari all’avvio del trasporto. Smart OrdiniAI nasce con l’obiettivo di rendere questo processo più rapido, preciso ed efficiente, supportando il lavoro degli operatori attraverso strumenti innovativi senza sostituirne il ruolo.
Il progetto prevede infatti lo sviluppo di un Virtual Assistant (VA) basato su AI generativa, progettato per gestire la corrispondenza con i clienti, analizzare i thread delle conversazioni via e-mail e raccogliere automaticamente tutte le informazioni necessarie all’apertura dell’ordine. Una volta completata questa fase, il sistema sarà in grado di generare
automaticamente l’ordine da inserire nel Transport Management System aziendale, contribuendo a semplificare il flusso operativo e a ridurre le attività ripetitive.
L’introduzione di questa tecnologia rappresenta un ulteriore passo nel percorso di trasformazione digitale intrapreso da CSM Trasporti. L’obiettivo non è soltanto automatizzare alcune attività, ma creare processi sempre più efficienti, capaci di migliorare la qualità del servizio e consentire alle persone di concentrarsi sulle attività a maggior valore
aggiunto.
Con Smart OrdiniAI, CSM Trasporti conferma la volontà di investire in soluzioni innovative in grado di accompagnare l’evoluzione del settore logistico, coniugando tecnologia, organizzazione e competenze per offrire un servizio sempre più affidabile, efficiente e orientato al futuro.
Il progetto è realizzato nell’ambito dell’Avviso Artificial Intelligence for Umbria (AI FOR UMBRIA) – PR FESR 2021-2027, Priorità 1 – OS 1.1 – Azione 1.1.2., con il sostegno dell’Unione Europea, della Repubblica Italiana e della Regione Umbria.
Smart OrdiniAI: artificial intelligence at the service of order management
Innovation is one of the driving forces behind CSM Trasporti’s growth. This is the spirit behind Smart OrdiniAI, the project that introduces generative artificial intelligence to support one of the company’s most strategic processes: managing orders received via email.
Every day, acquiring an order requires handling numerous communications, gathering information, and verifying the data needed to start the shipment. Smart OrdiniAI was created with the aim of making this process faster, more accurate and more efficient, supporting the work of operators through innovative tools without replacing their role.
The project involves the development of a Virtual Assistant (VA) based on generative AI, designed to manage correspondence with customers, analyse email conversation threads and automatically gather all the information needed to open an order.
Once this phase is complete, the system will be able to automatically generate the order to be entered into the
company’s Transport Management System, helping to streamline operational workflows and reduce repetitive tasks.
The introduction of this technology represents a further step in the digital transformation journey undertaken by CSM Trasporti. The goal is not only to automate certain activities, but to create increasingly efficient processes capable of improving service quality and allowing people to focus on higher-value tasks.
